  1. Hello!!

I have a 2 year old pit bull mix and would like to do a bit more advanced training 🙂

She has the basics of sit, stay, down, leave it, and come.

I was considering the CGC certification? What would you recommend, specifically to your facility?

    Thank you for your time!

    • Hi Cassandra,
Our obedience class levels start with Beginners Class and that includes heeling, figure 8’s, Sit and Down stays with distance as well as sit and stand for exam. The next level would be Beginner Novice. That class works on perfecting heeling and figure 8’s to prepare the student to show in AKC Beginner Novice Obedience. It also includes elements of the CGC and the test is administered the last night of class.
To skip a level you would need an evaluation by the Director of training Holly Kuhns and you can contact her at 224-531-1015 | uzurne@yahoo.com. She will be able to tell you what level is best for your dog. We want you and your dog to be successful and helping you find the perfect fit will make choosing a class easier.
Thanks for your interest in our classes.
