Car-Dun-Al Obedience Dog Training Club – General Membership Application

Dear Prospective Member,

This is General Membership Application form. It would be advantageous for you to read through the club’s constitution, policy, and volunteer opportunities list. These materials will help you understand more about Car-Dun-Al. CDA is a volunteer organization and its success rests solely on the efforts of its members. As a member you will be expected to volunteer your time and talent in support of the club. Please email me and I will send a copy of those documents to you for your perusal.

If you are applying for membership, you are required to attend a General Membership Meeting prior to submitting your application. You will also need to attend the General Membership meeting at which your application for membership is presented for approval. You also must have completed 20 weeks of training within the past year. You need to find two club members to sponsor you. These sponsors need to  submit a letter of recommendation. If your sponsors do not submit a letter of recommendation, they must be present at the meeting at which you are being presented, so they can stand up and verbally endorse your membership.

Please submit the completed Membership Application form at least one week prior to the General Membership meeting and complete payment for pro-rated check for single membership, so I can include your name on the ballot. The amount of the membership fee will be determined based on the month you are to be voted in. Please contact me for the pro-rated fee.
